What instruments are taught in Rock School?

Rock School has private instruction for guitar, bass guitar, piano/keyboard, drums, and brass. However any instrument is allowed in the Rock School band even if it is a non traditional rock instrument. The Rock School staff will arrange the music to accommodate your child’s instrument.


Is Rock School for beginners or advanced musicians?

Rock School is for beginners as well as advanced students. Beginners will start off with private lessons and will only be placed in a show once they have a basic command of their instrument. Advanced musicians serve more as band leaders and assist in the teaching.


What is the age range for Rock School?


Rock School accepts students of all ages for private lessons. Students in the band program and summer camp are ages 8-18.


Is singing a part of the Rock School curriculum?

Rock School does offer singing lessons for students. All students are encouraged, but not required, to sing in performance.


Can my child sign up with a friend or a group of friends?

We encourage friends and bands to join together.


Does Rock School play music by other artist or do the students write the music?

Each Rock School concert has a musical theme and features the music of established artist and by the students. Our songwriting program is one of our most creative and popular programs.
